Ivanhoe Professional Learning was established in 2007 by Ivanhoe Grammar School, Victoria, Australia, as the professional development division of the School
Our Patron is Professor Geoffrey Blaney AC.
Ivanhoe Professional Learning has three defined goals:
- To utilize skilled practitioners to deliver relevant and engaging professional development for staff in Primary and Secondary academic institutions in Victoria, interstate and overseas.
- To provide the means for talented, experienced educators within the Ivanhoe Grammar School community to deliver professional development training and in addition enable the School to attract and retain the very best staff by providing them with the opportunity to engage in this additional professional practice.
- To operate as a commercially viable entity within the Ivanhoe Grammar School corporate structure.
The Director of Ivanhoe Professional Learning, Ms Virginia Birrell, joined Ivanhoe Grammar School in 2004.
